Amazon Is Adding Tens Of Thousands Of Seasonal Employees This Holiday Season

Amazon is hiring for the holidays. In fact, it is hiring 100,000 seasonal workers, which is up 25% from last year. The holiday season is Amazon’s busiest time of year, when it supplements its staff of 90,000 permanent workers. Amazon is outpacing the competition by delivering goods faster and cheaper, sometimes the same day. It is able to do this because it is expanding its warehouses and shipping hubs to locations near major cities.
